Europe's largest donkey farm
The Montebaducco donkey farm, thanks to the direction of Giuseppe Borghi, currently has about 700 head, and is the largest in Europe.
Our company is committed to defending biodiversity so we breed 13 different breeds, including the rarest ones.
The donkeys live in large green and hilly spaces with full respect for animal welfare and sanitation regulations.
The animals are fed exclusively with organic products consisting mainly of fodder and grains, such as alfalfa, barley and oats from the farm’s 80 hectares of land.
The farm and donkey milk are certified organic by ICEA.

We love biodiversity, which is why we breed 13 different donkey breeds including some of the rarest.
We have the elegant Romagnolo, the Martina Franca, the Amiatino, the Sardo, the San Domenico, the Sologno, the Sant’Andrea, the dappled Irish, the white Egyptian, the Arabian, the French Poitou, the Ragusano, and a great rarity, the white colored donkeys.
